Police Upset They Did Not See UFOs - Military Are Watching

The Military are watching ...

UK UFO sighting: John Newsome ~ August 21st, 2009

Hi Robyn .... Talked to 2 policemen about it.
They said it was probably a Military copter.
Four of us watched the copter watching the objects.
There was definitely a copter present.
And it wasn’t watching lanterns.

Three orange objects in triangle formation. Two split and headed right of Preston, One headed towards Preston. Kept coming in 2s from over trees on Fowler lnd headed towards Preston. Low level, approx 1000ft, slow moving, silent. Stopped counting after 7 because they kept appearing. 15-20 in total. Police helicopter hovered between Stanifield lnd and Wigan Rd until last 2 in distance, then it flew off towards HQ at Hutton. Observed them for 20-30 minutes. Lots of witnesses.

Police are upset they didn't see UFOs:

I am a Police Officer working that particular evening and confirm that the Police helicopter, India 99, was returning to base when someone rang and reported these sightings and the chopper crew confirmed these were Chinese lanterns, we were all upset at this confirmation as after we received several calls we thought that it could be UFO’s.

Gosforth is approx 4 miles from Newcastle upon Tyne's Millennium Bridge. This bridge had a UFO fly-through on 6th August, 2009:
