Children Cheering... Cars Stopping... AAVs (Spacecraft)

AAV = Anomalous Aerial vehicle

Location of Sighting: Nottingham, England ~ Witness: S.I.S.
Date of Sighting: 10 July 2009 ~ Time: 16.30-17.30

Out of my window I saw a luminous oval ring shape, it was about about 1/3 a mile way from my house. It was 35/40ft off the ground, hovering in the air with two bright lights/beams in the centre of it. The object darted about.

Then I heard children cheering and calling out to it.

The object then dropped by about 5ft, then disappeared, only to reappear a mile away in the opposite direction (south of it’s original position). Never seen anything like it. I don’t know what it was.

A group of about 15 bright orange lights, almost clustered. Traveling in the same direction (North to South) at the same speed. Further orange lights followed. Then just as quickly as they appeared, they went again. I too went for the Chinese lantern thought, but these were FAR TOO BIG, and MOVING TOO FAST considering there was no wind whatsoever!

People were coming out of their houses and cars stopping in the middle of the road to watch these unexplainable flying objects. It was quite a surreal moment!! And we got photo’s!!!

You're NOT alone! Myself and four friends saw this. About twenty five or so. No sound. They just seemed to keep coming over the horizon. Orange lights, seeming to rise and fall. With one final one stopping dead for a moment. Then disappearing with the rest.

More cars stopping .....

I was sitting in traffic lights at Cottingley Bar heading towards Shipley when I noticed an orange light in the shape of a ball coming towards me heading from Cottingley towards the Bingley bypass in the sky. At first I thought it was a helicopter light because of its speed, but when I started to look more, it kinda moved sideways, not like a helicopter does, but just one minute it was coming towards me, then sideways, then back, then sideways again?

I'm not a person who believes in this stuff but I did get a chill when the lad alongside me in his car put his window down and asked me what it was and when I looked in my mirror the people behind me were out of their car and looking up at this thing ... Just wanted to know did anybody else see this ? On reflection I should have got my phone out and filmed it but you know ... anyway thanks.

My stepdad went for a walk around the garden, and saw 3 orange lights in the sky. At first he thought they were flares, but their behaviour suggested otherwise. My mum joined him in the garden and watched the lights move from the South towards the North, ascending towards and through the clouds. They were entirely silent. Two of them had red-tinged rears, and when they tried to view them through the binoculars, the lights appeared blurred, with no discernible definition. A neighbour confirmed that he also saw the lights driving home from work about 5 minutes previously. He had driven through Countess Wear and said that people were pulling their cars over, and getting out to have a look. We think it might be military, or Michael Jackson returning home (God rest his soul).
