Never Seen Anything Like This - I Am Really Shocked

I was riding my motorbike up towards the reservoir from Torpantau, when a huge red / orange sphere rose straight from the reservoir and slowly started moving up the side of the mountain.

I pulled over and stopped, and this thing, as if knowing what I was doing, started moving in my direction.

It came down near to the ground, in a field about 200 yards from me, and when it was about twenty feet from the ground, it shot out two bright white beams.

I could not see anything moving, but I did see the sheep in the field, all huddled together, not making a sound at all.

It then started to move again, I noticed that is was gaining altitude, and it passed straight over my head ... moving south-west, making no noise what so ever.

I have never seen anything like this before, it was definitely not any aircraft I know of. I would say that it had to be about 30 to 40 feet in size. I watched it for about five minutes, before it just stopped in mid air, then shot straight up, and disappeared into cloud. I never saw it again.

This has really shocked me. I know there has been some pretty strange sightings in this area over recent years but this I could not ignore. I know there are people that will ridicule me for this, but I felt like people should know what I saw last night.
